A patio cover, a pergola, or a poured deck either looks like it belongs to the house or it does not. Getting it to belong is a design problem before it is a construction problem — which is where we start.
The plans are drawn around how you actually live outside — where the evening shade needs to fall, the path from the kitchen door, the way a fire gathers chairs in January. Cover, concrete, and lighting are decided together, so nothing looks bolted on after the fact.
Every project runs under John’s eye — from the first drawing to the last board — with a crew that has already built the drawing they are holding.
If it touches your home, it should look like it came with it.
Design-First Approach
Before a post goes in the ground we draw the space — the roofline, the ceiling detail, the lighting, and the way the new structure meets the house. You see it while it is still easy to change. The consultation and the design cost nothing.
Owner On Every Project
John walks your yard for the consultation, sets the layout on build day, and is the person you call if something needs attention. Nothing is handed to a salesman you never see again, and no crew shows up without knowing the drawing.
Built To Last
North Texas soil moves, and it takes careless work with it. We prepare subgrade properly, set rebar to city code, flash where a cover meets the roof, and seal or stain cedar to protect it. The details you cannot see decide how it looks in ten years.

We walk the yard with you, take the measurements, and talk through how you actually want to use the space. Then we draw it — layout, structure, and finishes — at no cost and no obligation.

Detailed Proposal
You get a written scope and price: dimensions, materials, finishes, and the order the work happens in. Nothing is left as a vague allowance to be settled later.

Craftsmanship & Build
Permits pulled, subgrade prepared, structure framed and finished. The crew builds to the drawing, and the owner is on site at the points that decide the outcome.
- 04
Final Walkthrough
We walk the finished space together and correct anything on your list before we leave. Then we show you how to care for the cedar and the concrete so it holds its finish.
